Hi there,

How can I use the signal from the blimpduino board to drive more powerful dc motors? Do I have to use another motor shield? I’d like to use a 2m² baloon (which I already have) with your controlboard, and redisgning and 3d printing the gondola is no problem, but I am not sure how I can use the pmw signal from the board to steer another bigger motor with a additional power supply?

Any hints?

Best wishes

kallell

The motor drivers of the blimpduino control board can deliver up to 1A for short periods of time. Up to 700mA during the regular working conditions. Any motor capable of “using” that current can be used 😉
