We are developing a new version of the CAMERA SLIDER.
Basically, the hardware changes, but the electronics, motors, cables … almost 70% of the ancillary elements are the same.
So, if you have created the original CAMERA slider, it will be easy to create this one.

We have moved to smoother STEPPER MOTOR DRIVERS (Stepstick TMC2208) too. We will post everything as soon as we test everything 200%.

The control APP will be the same.

Thanks! We are still working with the assembly guide but this 3D model can help you during the set-up process: https://p3d.in/MLhGP
I have attached the Arduino CODE and STL files to this message 🙂

We strongly recommend using the TMC2208 motor drivers, but you will need to reduce the current output a little (to 0.7A) Info about how to do that: https://youtu.be/7VHwcEroHPk?t=254
The control APP is the same (we have updated it days ago)

Thanks a lot. I am printing already. Any BOM? What size are the bearings? bolts? TMC2208 are super silent and i use them since my first build 😉
Is there a chance that you could provide simple example of the sketch for Blynk? It would be awesome to create my own control panel app to be able setup start/end points for distance/angle, speed, acceleration, loop, auto-home(with end-stop), manual mode and so on… I manged to control LEDs on your board… and that’s it for now 😀

You can check the BOM here

We are taking a look to your “blnk” proposal Oki. Good idea

Great! I wanted to do something similar and needed to adapt the top. Now I have 85% of the work done because of you.
My v-slot profile is 20×40 that I had left at home.

You are more than welcome 🙂
If you can use similar electronics or replicate the DEVIA control board, you will be able to control it using the Control APP:
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jjrobots.cameraslider&hl=en
And iOs: https://apps.apple.com/es/app/cameraslider/id1418868442

How can Devia work away from home? I only see AC option. I think I remembered that before they sold 18650 battery adapters, isn’t it possible now?

any coupon to buy Devia controller?

Of course it can.
We recommend you a 12V or 9V battery holder with the regular 5.5mm connector, like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/5-5×2-1mm-Connector-8×1-5V-Battery-Holder/dp/B01GEBW7Q8/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=battery+holder+12v&qid=1582536742&sr=8-6

Or if you are planning to connect it to your car battery, use this one: https://www.amazon.com/12V-24V-Charger-Power-Supply-Cable/dp/B07DKXWRVD/ref=sr_1_1?crid=ZZGLLIUCP0FU&keywords=12v+dc+5.5mm+x+2.1mm+car+cigarette+lighter+power+supply+adapter+cable&qid=1582536831&sprefix=car+12v+5.5%2Caps%2C252&sr=8-1

We will add a battery holder to the KIT asap. Would you like to get one from us (a 9V, 6xAA batteries)?

Thanks again! I can say that this one is super quiet and smooth. Printed parts need some post-processing in order to make it tight but i am really impressed anyway. I have made some small changes and i am adding the micro usb 9v rechargeable battery. Any progress with that requested Blynk App example? It would be very useful for the whole “open source” community, for your business and for me as well :DDD Anyway.. I love your board and i am going to build this slider for some of my friends as they really like it.

We would love to get feedback from you, Oki. Would you mind leaving a comment here?: https://www.jjrobots.com/product/camera-slider-kit-2/#tab-reviews
It is quite difficult to get not biases feedback :-

Hello, I’ll transform the old version within the next few days into the rail version. I’ve printed all parts but I couldn’t find two of them in your 3D model. What are they used for?

That is the Tripod support 🙂
